Ok, speak up...Single dad with two daughters on our first cruise....hold my hand I'm scared.

Just got off the Ecstacy 5-6-06...what a blast! Man, I hope you get the same attention we did. Stateroom was excellent, and dining waiters were as well. I hope you get Biljana and Bulent as waiters..they were awesome! Ildefonzo was room steward and he did an excellent job! Have fun!

I am worried that I will be lonely on this trip. My two BEAUTIFUL daughters already have almost every minute of their days planned leaving dear ol dad to fend for himself. Never done this before...

Shark, cruising is great for single folk. Just be open and talk to everyone, people sitting next to you, people on the elevator. Before you know it, you'll see familiar faces everywhere you go.

Sandy is right, sharkdawg. You will be surprised how many times you run into the same people, even on a ship this size. We saw several of the same people in many places...playing bingo, on the dance floor, at dinner, at the pool. Hey, make new friends

. People are interested in where you live, how many cruises you have been on, what you enjoy, etc. You will have a good time if you mix and mingle...go to the Karoke bar and have fun!

This coming June 4 is my 4th cruise as a single mom with two boys. I never had a bad time. I wish you were going with u!!

Good for you for doing this - your girls will never forget it. How old are they? My are going to be 18 and 21. Where are you from. I live near San Diego

My girls are 13 and about to be 16. We live in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Thanks for the advice. Wish we were going with you too Luve to cruise.
