What to pack

Ok Now for the reason that I got on tonight.
I am now packing for my 5 day western carib. Cozumel and Cayman. 2 nights at sea.
What type of clothes to pack for dinner and at sea time/ Casino. I am fairly new to being Single again and trying to relearn to dress myself again. LOL.
What type of Dress clothes is standard for a cruise of this type and duration.
My last cruise was Suit and tie for the Captains dinner.

Jacket and tie
Dockers and polo
or jeans???????????????

Hey Dave..... I know what you mean about the back to back Med Cruises. I thought about getting a mail box in Naples.

Good question, firemn; I've been thinking about the same thing for the cruise-chat cruise in August, '08. I know, it's a little early to start packing, but I like to plan ahead--it's half the fun.

I like to wear a suit and tie for formal night and blazer and open collar for other sea nights. On port nights, a nice resort or Hawaiian shirt over dress slacks.

On sea days, and excursions as well, shorts all the way and T's or light cotton sport shirts--I'm not much for polos; nothing against them, I just don't look good in them.

Dockers and polos just aren't my style and jeans, except denim shorts, are just not for me. I don't know what's good for the casino--I don't use it.

Well firemn, I don't know if this has been of any use to you, but it sure has helped me!

Not an expert, but yes will be a formal night. Casino dress is casual, alot of folks go in there on formal night after the show still dressed up though. I have worn T's Shorts and flip flops in there no prob.

Firemn....have fun on the cruise! Suit and tie is great for formal night in the dining room. All other nights, casual without shorts in dining room. Throughout the rest of the ship, it is pretty much "anything goes" day or night. If you are going solo, take the opportunity to "stand out" on formal night. You'll have a great time!

Can I bring any drinks or snacks and water?

Soft drinks and water are fine as long as you don't overdo it--there dosen't seem to be a clear-cut answer for that.

But taking snacks to a cruise ship? Kind of like taking your own sand to the beach.
