how much do pictures taken by carnival usually
cost. i want plenty plenty plenty.

The photos aren't cheap. I believe an 8 x 10 will run your around $19.00. It may even be slightly higher. I'm sure someone here will know exact amounts. My advice would be to look over your photos every day while they are out on display. The photos will stay up the entire cruise for your viewing pleasure.

We usually go on our last evening and pick and choose the best. They will take more photos of you and your family than you have room in your home. If there's an absolute fantastic photo that you can't live without, purchase it. You can very easily go over board on photo purchases. There will also be key chains, photo albums, frames, etc., available for purchase. This is where the sign and sail card gets dangerous for me. I'll take two of those, four of those.....

Photographers will be out every evening, when you disembark the ship and even on some excursions.

Yep, A'ndrea is absolutely right. You might also take advantage of one of the photo packages that they offer. On formal night, you will not be able to take three steps without bumping into a Carnival photographer.

I know they are not cheap, but last summer In the adventure of the seas I spend $80 dollars in just 4 photos, as for the carnival destiny I paid 8 dollars for each picture...So I can bring more with less in Carnival hope this help.
Prices can be between 7 to 10 dollars.

I don't know if prices are standard throughout Carnival's fleet, but on the Holiday an 8 x 10 is $21.99, and a package of one 5 x 7 and four wallets is $9.99 - but you MUST buy the 8 x 10 before you can purchase other size photos. One or two posed photos are good, but like the other post suggested, take a camera and ask someone to snap a picture of you and your party. There are only so many 8 x 10's a person can use!

One solution for the having too many pictures for the house problem is to do what hubby & I did. We bought a good quality digital photo frame. We have hundreds of photos in it, and it changes pictures about every 15 or 20 seconds. We couldn't possibly display all those pictures in our limited space. It's been one of the best purchases I ever made.

After years of cruising my husband and I finally came to our senses regarding the photo expense.

We make sure we have our digital camera with us on our way to dinner on formal night. The staircases in the atriums are usually very opulent and grand. We find a man or woman who will photograph us with the staircase as the backdrop.

They usually take 4 or 5 photos of us, we go back home, take the disc to CVS or Target, print out 8 X 10's or 5 X 7's, frame them and we're the wiser for a fraction of the cost.

We go light on the photos. I do like to get the boarding one if it has the date and sailing on it. It is fun to look back and remember when and where. And what we looked liked and were wearing.

Yes pictures are priced fairly high but I like the quality in the pic's I got.
