Spa expenses? Any idea on how much?

This is my first cruise and I have no idea about anything that goes on. I will be going on Carnival's ship the Fantasy. So one of the many questions is does anyone know the average costs of the spa? How much to get your hair done or a massage? Thanks so much

Been on the fantasy but didn't do the spa, sounds good though when are you going if you don't mind me asking?

It's not outrageously expensive, but it's more than at home for a visit to the hair salon. I was on Fantasy a couple weeks ago and shampoo & style was about $27. Adding a trim ran it up close to $50. Massages run the gamut from $110 up to $300+. Hope you have a great time. We did.

We are leaving May 27th for a 5 days. I can not wait!!! This is our first cruise so we are trying to figure out how this all works so we dont look like dorks! Thanks for the info I might just get my hair done one night that's not to bad of a price

We just got back from our first cruise on the Ecstacy, and we could talk to nearly everyone that was also on their first. Seemed like nearly everyone was newbies...just a few that were on return trips. So, you will not be alone in the "first timer" club. Enjoy yourself...you will want to go again!

word of warning if you go to have your hair done in updo make sure you tell them you do not want any boubles in your hair, unless you bring your own, the 3 girls in my family went for updos and they put rhinestone bobbie pins and a rhinstone barret in them and the charge went from 45.00....... to 65.00 to 80.00 each,and they were not asked if they wanted them place in thier hair

yes I have waited a long time to see that in a countdown, and boy does it look good in print I am going to plan a cruise to Italy around that time, it will be my gift to me lololol

Just got back from sailing on the Glory and bought a package deal, got a 25 minute massage, back, shoulders and neck, foot massage, facial and hand and arm massage for $109. It was a great deal becuase just a regular massage was about $70. Don't go for the pedicure though, they told my nieces it would only be $40 and ended up costing them $64, I can get a pedicure at home for $22, get one before you go....
