You've put aside more than enough unless... you didn't mention shopping. That's where I always get hurt and I don't shop, I'm married to a professional shopper.

Bring the credit card and use it. Keep your cash to pay it in full when you get the bill. That way you don't have to carry around that much cash and you won't pay interest on a balance you pay that billing cycle.

My wife had a credit card stollen once but I didn't report it... the thief spent less than she did. (Just a joke)

Cheers, Neil

All of your ships purchases will be put on your Ships Card....no need for cash there....We bring about $400 cash for a 7 day cruise and never spend all of it...Charge it all and pay it off all at once....We bring lots of $2 bills for extra tipping when called for...Enjoy...

Remember that you can not bring Cuban cigars back to the U.S. You can purchase them but your husband can smoke them on the ship and on your shore excursions.
Cubans cigars come with a heavy price if brought back home. The Feds will wish you did not buy them if they catch you.
I smoke cigars and I do not like Cubans. I like Arturo Fuentes they are made in the Dominican Republic but they only ones you find in the stores are Cubans and they are EXPENSIVE.

shondie, it is way more than needed.

Don't want this to sound wrong, but if I had 1800 extra...Well, I would not be on the 3 day Bahamas

Something like $1,000 per cigar fine if I remember what they said on the ship.
