Going on Conquest (wedding)in Dec 07. I understand you won't know cabin until boarding. Ours will be a large family group from both sides of the family. We especially have some dear friends who will be going and would like them close. What is the chance of requesting adjoining rooms and are adjoining rooms a good place on ship. We both have balcony.
Thanks

If you won't know your cabin until you board it must mean you booked a "guarantee" cabin; you could call Carnival and request adjoining cabins, but they may not honor that request.

Did you mean "connecting" cabins instead of "adjoining" cabins?
Adjoining cabins are next to each other: connecting actually have a door between. The deck plans for Conquest on the Carnival website should show you the location of the connecting cabins.

How big is your group? Did you book it through a Travel Agent? Unless specific rooms are requested, most groups are booked under a "guaranteed". The cabins are assigned before the sailing. You should know your cabin number when you get your documents. If you want specific cabins, then you should let your Travel Agent know now. I have a group on the Carnival Destiny for November. Some are booked in "guaranteed", but some wanted a balcony mid ship, so they are assigned a specific cabin.
