The last few weeks are always a great time to research your ports and other activities. Where are you cruising to?

Yucatan Peninsula, Cozumel, and Belize. I know we'll go see the Myan Ruins and hopefully the zoo in Belize, thn of course shop, shop, shop!! Where's the best shopping?? What about your opinion of the best beach to go to in Cozumel? Considering we are not drinkers we don't care anything about a "party sytle" beach scene. Thanks for all your input.

playa del sol was our choice, we tried a different beach and we did not like it it was not a good swimming area to many rocks and corral playa del sol had a great sandy beautiful beach.

I would suggest Nacchi Cocum as a beach in Cozumel. It is a relatively laid back quiet beach with great facilities and definitely not the "wild party" atmosphere. You can check out more info on our sister site PortReviews.com. Tom did extensive research on the beaches and has provided a special beach report:

Also, based on your port stops - Cozumel will definitely offer the best shopping opportunites.

The Mayan ruins were good. It's a long tour but I was not sorry I went. Which ruins were you going to see?
