Poker on carnival legend?

Hi, I heard there might be poker room on carnival legend, is that correct? if it is then what kind of poker and what 's the stake?

Jeff, all of Carnival cruise ships have casinos which have blackjack tables and other poker type card games. Usually they have minimum bets of $2.00 upwards to play.

Are you saying that they offer "real poker", i.e. 5 or 7 card stud, omaha, hold-em, where you aren't playing against the house or just fake cruise sucker poker like Caribbean Stud or 3 card poker?

The Casinos have poker type games that are dealt by a house dealer. On some of the ships there are rooms known as "Card Rooms" where people get together and play card games such as bridge etc..with other passengers. I am not aware of any actual "Poker Games" outside of the casinos.

Yes there is texas Hold'em on Carnival Legend. They have a poker room which has low limit tables. They also host tournys on every cruise. Im going on the legend on September 10 2005 and I cant wait to play some hold'em. See you in the Trump Card room.

sorry to bring up poker again, but i'm having a hard time finding specifics about the hold em tournaments on the legend. are they daily? buy in amounts? how many tables? etc... anyone know anything? i would greatly appreciate any info. my friends really want to know. im going next may 4th.
