Question about pool noise - Conquest

Our room is 8312 on the Conquest Verandah deck. Looks like it is under the pool. I read some reviews about noise from the pool due to moving of chairs, etc. Since I have a one year that will be napping around noon and sleeping at 10:00 pm, was kind of concerned. Can someone comment?

Hi Itrantham, welcome to Cruise-chat. Most people will be in ports when the ship docks, so that will eliminate a big part of the noise during the day. Most people won't be out by the pool at 10:00pm, they'll be in the shows, casino, shopping or sleeping, so that will eliminate most of the noise at night. You may hear some noise from the pool area during sea days, but I'll bet your 1 year old will be worn out and will have little problems sleeping. What noise you do hear will be will be muffled and if you keep your balcony door closed, I don't think you'll be bothered in the least. Best wishes and have a wonderful cruise!

You will sleep like a baby....well, when a baby is sleeping:-)....

I never thought about the number of days of actual sailing which is not many to worry about. Other days will be at ports. Thanks for updating/reminding me. Nervous about first time cruising and cruising with a little one.

I sure hope so. He can be a tirant if no sleep. My preference would have been to not take him on this first cruise but in the end, could not be away from him that long. Thanks for your response.
