I don't know which cruise line you are going on, but we just got back 2 weeks ago from being on Carnival Triumph. What a trip!
I had read so many negatives about Carniva, and all these things that I had read, did not come to pass. I have been on RCL, NCL, Princess, and Holland Am., and Carnival just happened.
The ship is awesome, and the room we had with a window (In my 5 cruises, this was a first), large closets,drawers, and toiletries that were more than I had ever found on any of the other ships.
Plenty of choices of food, if you did not like one type, there was always something else to choose from.
The entertainment of the singers/dancers, was great, with costume changes about every 10 minutes.
We went to Grand Caymon, Cozumel and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. It had been over 17 years since I had gone that direction.
What a vacation it was.

Tanks, all. You know what I just realized? I'M NOT "DRIVING"!!! HA! HA! Somebody else is driving! I'm just gonna sit back and ride, for a change. Here in Los Angeles we drive - ALOT. It will be sooooo nice not to have to worry about filling the tank, checking the tire pressure, listening to the traffic report and so on! YAHOOO!!!!
Its going to get worse now... You'll keep looking at those tickets...
I keep moving mine around on the desk... I finally had to put them in our "cruise folder" where we keep all the paperwork we need for the cruise... I figure that way I will remember to bring the paperwork.

Hey group....can anyone tell me where to get those I.D. case necklaces that hold you passport, small amount of cash and cruise card? We just came from Big 5 and couldn't find any there...
They have them on board. We bought some waterproof necklace pouches from American Express and they have those in dive shops all over. Hope this helps and have a wonderful cruise!!
Tanks. :-) I just went to REI's website. Lots of great stuff there INCLUDING a waterproof ID travel pack for five bucks. There's a store in Santa Monica, I think I'll go there and check 'em out!
well, I have 23 more days to drop a few more pounds!! HA HA
