Ecstasy on 1/15/09. Cozumel in Winter?

I'm taking my wife on a 10 yr anniversary cruise in January. 4 days on the Ecstasy to Cozumel from Galveston. Since it's Winter, and my wife never learned to swim, I was thinking of the all day jeep tour. This is our first cruise and the first time going to Mexico. I'm thinking the Caverns by Jeep since it's mostly in the Jeep but I'm not sure if even I'd be getting in the water considering the time of year. Any advice?

Hello,

I am not sure how cold the water will be in Cozumel when you visit. Unless someone on the board has personal experience you may want to post the question on a local Cozumel site. I had a good one saved but deleted it after my trip. Search for Cozumel tours and I am sure it will come up for you. You may also try Weather Underground for some historical temperatures.

We went to Cozumel last Januaru and the water was cool but not bad - We didi the dolphin swim at Chankanaab. My fave time to cruise is Oct We leave next Thurs!!
