Dwayne,

I seem to recall reading on another site where someone posted a Bar Menu that the larger Carnival ships do offer a Bucket O Beer...4 beers on ice at a slightly reduced price. I am really hoping this info is correct, as being a Brewery Employee, I tend to enjoy a beer or 22.

Cheers!!!
Kevin

I think it's 5 beers for the price of 4. My hubby drinks them so fast, I can't count them quick enough

Kevin, Oh yes, They sell Bucket of Beers. All the ships sell them. The prices vary some. They switched the Budweiser products to the 16oz. aluminum bottles so they cost more than the 12oz Coor's Light cans.

Penny, they are 4 to a bucket. If you are nice to your bartender you might get 5 every few buckets or so.

I just got back on Thursday and here are some prices for everyone (from my sail & sign statement)
All include gratuity

DOD Card: $26.45
Bucket of Beer (bud light): $20.13
1 Bud Light: $5.46
Drink in the Whale Tail Cup: $12.14
Large Bottle of Water: $4.54
Frozen Drink: $6.61

As you can tell, I pretty much only consumed alcohol! haha

With the drink of the day card, only your first drink comes in the souvenier cup (sometimes that bartender will give you another). The other ones are in a regular glass, but its the same amount at the souvenier glass, we tested it out! haha

Happy Drinking to All!!

Welcome back mc1441 !

Thanks for the current information. This would make the DOD cards $23.00 before the gratuity. I sure miss when the Bucket O' Beers were $10.50. Did you notice if they still had the 12oz. Coors light's? I usually get those because it is what I normally drink and they are about $5 less per bucket. My friends ordered the 16oz. bucket of Bud's while we were still in Port Canaveral, their eyes were buggin' when they saw the bill. They added local and state sales tax on top of the $20.13

Thanks again, for posting the Info.

yes, they do still have the 12oz Coors light. I didnt see anyone order them in a bucket, but I'm sure there were people that did. Yeah, they definitely get you with the port tax while in port. Its al extra $1.23 to be exact (for the bucket of beer).

Im in cruise depression right now

Thanks for the replying. I just like 12oz. CL's better. If they have them, they will sell them in a bucket. By the time I drink one of those 16oz. BL's they get warm. I have a great can huggy that keeps the 12 ouncer's nice and cold.

The best cure for this is to start planning another cruise! It's the only thing that snaps me out of it.
