Hey folks, it's been a while since my last cruise. I am heading out on Elation for 5 days in 2 weeks. How much of a hold are they placing on your credit card these days? I would hate to give then a card with $400 credit and have them embarass me by tell me it's not enough. Any help?

I believe they will hold $200 per person for a 5 night cruise, and it will roll as charges accumulate.

They initially start with a $50 approval and then incrementally add more as needed. It's really going to depend on your spending habits. For a 5 day cruise they recommend a $200 deposit per person if using cash.
