I heard you can bring cameras on the cruise ship, but what about camcorders? I want to record everything about my first cruise and Honeymoon!

Camcorders are allowed. No different than any other camera.

You will also be given the opportunity to buy a ship-produced video of the cruise, which isn't personalized but they are often quite good.

Do be aware though that recording the production shows is prohibited and in the casino. I once 10 years ago got escorted out of the closed casino for having my camcorder.

Dave makes an excellent point about the ship produced videos. I happened to get on one twice on a cruise, so we bought it and almost have it worn out we watch it often to re-live the cruise. A friend is transfering it to dvd for us before it bites the dust. They play highlights recorded on the tv, and is very fun to watch. It use to be called "Video Diary".
