Thanks Nancy - that clears things up completely!

So it looks like all we really need to worry about is my wife's curling iron (and a power strip, of course)?

People on other boards obsess constantly about power strips. What exactly is there to plug in, besides GameBoy chargers and cell phone chargers (for an hour) and a hair dryer (10 minutes MAX) and a curling iron (5 minutes MAX)?

I kept wondering about that.

By the way, the plug is in the cabin, not in the bathroom.

Carla - thanks for the tip on where the power outlet is!

As for why the strip - we are a family of 4 and what with iPods, digital cameras, camcorders & the like, we feel a strip will be absolutely necessary (especially when my wife wants to blow dry her hair )
