I know everyone is tired of alcohol questions but I have a quick one. I am a first time cruiser and I was wondering how many bottles of wine can my husband and I take on board? Can we just carry them on or do we need to put them in our carry on bag? Thanks!

What really baffles me is, do all the people who smuggle booze on board, bring their own drinks to a restaurant as well?
My say is if you cannot afford it ,cut back on the booze.

In response to whether I bring my own wine to a restaurant: absolutely right, I do. I admit it, I'm a wine snob and I know what I like. I'm not going to risk a special occasion, like eating a meal with my wife, to a wine I know nothing about. I'll try wines at home, but for special occasions, like a cruise, I want to know that the wine I'm pairing with my meal is the right wine. Bringing wine with us for our meals on the cruise ensures that it is the right wine. It has nothing to do with cost or the desire to get snockered. 'Nuff said.
