Just to add to what you've said Jan, Princess made photo journals of the recent drydockings of Golden Princess, Coral Princess and Sea Princess. On the home page of princess.com click on "ships" and then the ship you want to see, then "drydock". Facinating pictures.

WOW, But they did not replace the broken projector in the main lounge. "Ticket to Ride" is still having the cast run through the audience to chase the "Beatles" rather than the movie on the screen. My daughter says the audience loves it, but it wears the dancers out just before they take the stage for the first number. The Fantasy Dancers are still hoping a new projector gets there soon

And to think it was mostly a routine maintenance dry dock. I don't know why they replaced the Promenade tile. It looked great and had been replaced once when they changed the Promenade to a Roman type theme. I hate they replaced the marble staircase as it was beautiful and classy. It was slippery when wet though. The Fantasy has been through so many changes since it was new. Every time I go on the ship it's like it is a different ship. The flooring at the water park was in need of replacing as well as the jogging track. I wonder what they did to the Mongolian grill. It was already pretty new. One thing that needed to be done that I didn't see on the list was work in the Forum lounge - Punchliner. Not exactly sure what they could do to make it more suited for the Punchliner venue as it is a multi use room.

During a recent ship inspection one of the attendees asked the Carnival rep if the ship had a theme. Answer - Not really any more.

Oh, as an update to a post I made last year about the giant can of Whiskas being gone. It is back now and is located beside the bar in the Cat's lounge.

Carnival has extended an invitation for me to tour the ship and see the post dry dock changes. I'm not sure I can RSVP yet depending on my work schedule. If I do get to go I am going to invest in one of those digital video cameras so I can post a video showing the changes and refurbishments for everyone. You may have to translate the narrative as I have a strong southern accent.

Some digital video would be great. Get some dancers to point to the improvements.

I am really looking forward to seeing the whiska can. I bet my daughter gets a kick out of it to. I remember a page from a cat diary that she just howled over.

Woke up
Had some food from a can
took a nap
yarn yarn yarn
It was a good day

The projector has been fixed. The "Ticket to Ride" show was my favorite of the cruise! It was very impressive and the actors running "through" the film was one of the highlights. There were a number of flawless costume changes, and the arrangement of songs was logical and entertaining. The shows are not to be missed!

PS Cruise Dad's daughter is unbelievably beautiful and talented!

Hi Dwayne, I hope you get to go. Could you take some videos of "Music Boardwalk" for me?
I would appreciate it very much I'm a big fan of theirs. I'm also a friend of Enrique who is in the band. I know that they have a new keyboard player which I haven't seen yet. They are a great band. Thanks again Dwayne. Mary Ann from New York
