Mazatlan is really not a big loss. You would really need to have a tour lined up for it since it really is a small port town with a cruise terminal type shopping area built for the cruise ships. There are some restaurants and such outside of the terminal but not much to see. We went horseback riding on the beach which was fun but I bet those tour operators are in financial pain right now with no one stopping...

It might be cold water in December Penny.... I'd bring your wet suit top just in case. If we had not been snorkeling in PV... we might have tried it there, but Cabo looked like it had better snorkeling choices...

I have a feeling it will be too cold for me to do much snorkeling, since I prefer the warm water. However, I would like to see the difference. I always take my wet suit because I am such a weenie. I'll try Cabo, then or maybe both PV and Cabo since I'm really not into shopping. I will definitely buy some more vanilla, though. And, of course, the obligatory t-shirt Thanks so much for the heads up.

I have been on this cruise twice, Once on the splender and once on the pride. As for line ups i agree they are not bad other then during peak hours. Check in was good. I think we were 30 min, however I think we may have been a little early anyways. I would pick this cruise again, espically if they spent two nights in cabo.
