Ocean vs. inside

Does anyone know how much bigger an oceanview room for 2 is than an inside for 2, thanks

It can depend on the ship but most Carnival inside cabins are the same size as the outside cabins. They just don't have a window.

If you want the best of both world book a porthole room.. You get it at the price of an inside yet you can see some of the ocean.. you also have a couch you can sit on instead of a small chair,, The bigger ships to me have alarger outside cabin, Not HUGE but a little more room because of the couch thats in the room.. The older ships are the same..

I dont bother...

Everytime I have had a OV room, it was so filthy from sea spray it was not worth the problem.

I figure if I want to see the ocean, I can walk a few steps and see it!!

I dont do this, but one person said they wanted to have the sun shine in every morning. A suggestion was made to leave the TV on the ship camera and get the sun rise that way.

I know on the Fantasy class ships the interior cabins are the same square footage as the Ocean Views at 185 sq. ft. For the price difference, I am perfectly happy in an interior cabin. I understand people that don't get to see the ocean very often wanting them though. I see the ocean almost every day of my life, so is no big deal for me. Plus, I am rarely in the cabin except to sleep and shower.

The cabin size is the same as mentioned@185 For CCL. The windows can become salted and limit the visabitily. I have stayed in an IS when sailing with a child that won't look out the window (silly girl will run on deck if I don't hold her hand each moment). The TV suggestion sounds great and I will use that my next time trapped IS!

Anything over a weekend I like to have a window if possible.

Just came home from my first cruise and we had a balcony. It was so worth the money. we spent a lot of time on the balcony just watching the sea and even when in port watching the goings on.

Can't even imagine having an inside room, even if it is the same size and tons cheaper.

However, I understand not spending the money on one too, because your not in your cabin all that much anyway.
