Spirit 9B Premium Balcony?

Hello all!

A question I am hoping someone can help me with. Has anyone ever stayed in a 9B Balcony cabin on Spirit? They are larger than the regular balcony cabins (about 40 sqft) & the balcony is almost double the size. All sounds good except the cabin backs up to the elevators & I am of course concerned about noise. I called Carnival & the gentleman I spoke to did not offer much help, just said "huh..yeah I see that. I don't know. May be noisy"

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Amy

Amy, in general, I like to stay away from the elevator lobby and elevator machinery. If you're too close to the machinery, it can be noisy, especially at night. And, of course, that machinery noise can go on all night.

If you're near the elevator lobby, you could be hearing the "ding ding ding" of the elevators reaching your floor all the time, too.

Do you have any flexibility in your cabin location? Or are the only ones left the ones that back up to the elevators?

There are other balcony cabins. I actually chose it, as I was trying to get the most bang for my buck. The suite prices jump up considerably and there are 4 of us. However, after I booked it, I started thinking "uh oh". Maybe I should have chosen something else.

Primo Balcony! I don't think you will hear much from the elevator as it is the Aft shaft and there is a space between the elevator and cabin wall. A super convenient location to grab some pizza.
