Digital Walkie Talkies

Has anyone tried the new digital walkie talkies onboard?

Just wondering if they work any better than the little FRS/GMRS radios. The only ones I have found that worked "ok" were commercial radios but they were to big to lug around.

This is what I was looking at. TriSquare - 2-way Radio - Beyond FRS Beyond GMRS eXRS (TM) eXtreme Radio Service

Anyone tried them?

Okay, I just put a link to the company's website, all the text that looks like an ad came up after I posted the message...

Hey Larry, good to see you! As you can see we are on a new software system and it just does that for some reason. There is a way to get around it, but it requires a few extra steps.

1. Click the "Insert Link" tab (Globe with a chain link).

2. Delete the blue high-lighted HTTP:// and paste link.

3. When the link code appears in the message it will have a blue high-lighted section. Place your cursor there and delete. Leave the cursor there and type in the the title for the link ie Click Here etc.

There may be an easier way to do it, but I've been doing it that way.

Glad to see you back,

Dwayne (formerly IslandCruz)

Not sure how easy that would be on the iPad. :)

I'll try that the next time I post from the desktop.
