I know, Sonny...I was just giving you a hard time.
So, since I will be embarking on my 2nd and 3rd Carnival cruises soon...will I get a coupon book in my stateroom like on RC? Is enrollment in the past guest program automatic?
Yes, past guest is automatic. You will get a "gold" sign and sail card but there is no "coupon book". You don't get much more for past guest except you are invited to the past guest party. Free booze and munchies, some dancing and meet the officers type of thing. It enjoyable.

Another Platinum Perk (unwritten) is that the rooms for Platinum Guests are prepared first. If you ask, they will allow you to go to your room early and drop off your luggage and NOT have to carry it with you to the Lido deck.
John Heald recently confirmed this is a perk, but be prepared in case your room is not prepared when you arrived. However, a list of Platinum guests is given to the Stewards.
Being VIP Is better than being not LOL!! I love getting on the ship early before the crpwd shows up... We also got free drink coupons on the last cruise rather than the Carnival logo merchandise.. And trust me being able to go in front of the pursur desk is a big deal when there is a line!! Welcome to the Platnium Club!!

Yes, JaBee this is true. On both of my last two cruises the Stewards told me the cabin was ready and they had been waiting on me. They were still cleaning other cabins. I love that "unwritten" perk.
