We are going with a couple in Sep for our cruise.. He is NUTS in the way that he only wants a hamburger in the dinning room everynight!! Do they offer that.i never notced... I will take his LOBSTER THEN.. And the pumpkin soup...
Perhaps when he sees the wonderful meals the rest of you are enjoying, he'll change his mind. But, I like your idea of having his share of the lobster tail!
He has been on Carnival one time before and he HATES the fine dinning! He is one of these guys that will never wear a suite or a tie.. His wife wants to go so bad in the dinning,they are having little fights over it..Dont understand....
Tell his wife to leave him at the pool and y'all go into the dining room. She should be able to enjoy a nice dinner. That's just not fair, he only has to wear a nice pair of slacks and a polo shirt, unless it's formal night. Even then, Carnival isn't strict about wearing a tie or jacket.
Penny is right. Let him go dine on the Lido deck and let his wife join you. I can't believe anyone would pass up the great dishes they serve for a burger. My daughter loves the flat iron steak but she doesn't have it every night because there are times when there are better choices.

It's a bit of civility lost but I can also understand that most people don't want to bother to dress up for dinner, so Carnival is trying to placate them. Now if he does not have to change AND he still won't be bothered to sit with his wife so SHE can enjoy a great dinning experience, then THAT would be selfish....
