We just got home to our house at 8:38am and although we are thankful that our house is fine, it just stinks to know that our cruise is over. It was so great coming in to port in Mobile last Monday, knowing that we were staying on the ship. Reality struck today and alas, we had to leave.
It was a great trip and I have a ton of pictures to share. I will start a new post with a complete review and a link to the pictures via dropbox.
I also got the recipe for warm chocolate melting cake and can't wait to try it out!
Welcome back, Brad! Glad to know you had such a good time. The last night of a cruise is always a sad affair, with people needing to go pack, seeing luggage outside cabin doors, and everything winding down. Plus, re-entry and reintegration into real life is awful!
The good news is that the best known cure for end-of-cruise depression is a little pill called "booking your next cruise." It works every time, there are only happy side effects, and you can repeat as often as is necessary. Insurance won't pay for it, but it's money well spent. Who can put a price on joy and peace of mind?
