Is it true that if you are platnium that you can go to your cabin early when you board the ship? And how do we do this when the doors are shut when we board. 57days!!!

I haven't heard of that, but I'm not platinum on Carnival, either. We do have quite a few members that are, though.

That is not listed as a perk on the Carnival website. It would be hard to allow that since platinum members would have cabins all over the ship and it would defeat the purpose of not opening cabins until X time. They surely wouldn't want people opening the fire doors.

Like Dave said, they have the doors closed for access to most cabins. We are Platinum and we have had mixed results. Once they let us go to our cabin a little early (like 1PM) But other times we waited until 2PM. It may totally depend on where your cabin is and if you can get to it. I have been told they do try to have the Platinum guest cabins available early.
