Newbie: Carninval clarificication on what is a BL Balcony
 

I am booked on the Pride in Baltimore in late Jan. The price dropped considerably. I had booked a balcony room. I called asking for either a change in price or an upgraded or non-obstructed view I rec's a confirmation stating that my cabin is now BL Balcony. Does this mean I may not have obstructed view? Thanks in advance.

Are you saying you originally were booked in a balcony with an actual cabin number assigned? A "BL" means you are now in a "Guaranteed" balcony category, which means you don't have a cabin number assigned, you're in an open balcony. A "BL" leaves you open to be booked in any higher category balcony.
