Some Question about Carnival Splendor

kenneth 4343 .....If You are flying in to the Long Beach/LA area why worry about parking....Take a shuttle.....It can easily be arranged via the Cruiseline itself or any number of shuttle services in the area. We had good luck last month getting to and from the Carnival Splendor by using Prime Time Shuttle but Super Shuttle offers comparable service....there are many choices available on line!! Carnival Splendor is a very Nice Ship with a fantastic crew.....And...Above all...enjoy Yourselves...You're on a cruise!!

I just went on the Splendor Feb 5th. I wouldn't go any earlier than 11:00AM. Even then you may have to wait a bit. It really depends on how early the previous cruise completed their disembarkation. I think on Feb 5th they started boarding around 11:30AM.

O. I am in Los Angeles. But thanks for your advice. I will plan for next cruise next year. Can't wait for this!

Quality Inn Long Beach has a snooze/cruise option. I'll be driving up the day before and stay there for $89. They will give us free parking for up to 10 days and a free round trip shuttle to the pier. This is still cheaper than paying the $15 per day for 8 days and you have no travel-day stress.
