Glory to Canada
 

We will be taking the Glory from Boston to St John and Halifax in June.
Finally a cruise to which we can drive!

Not having to endure the plight of the airports and TSA is always a good way to take a cruise!

I am so excited to have another ship in Boston during the summer. We can't go this year, however -- perhaps next year. At least I get to see her!

Papa58....We have done the Carnival Glory out of NYC to Canada....Like LisaP we are very happy to see her in Boston (where parking is less expensive than but as convenient as NYC)! She is a Great ship and the ports are very interesting.....Peggy's Cove and the HOHO(Hop On-Hop Off) Bus are the things to see and do if this is your first time to Halifax!!
St.John offers the Reversing Falls, The Sea Caves or the Hopewell Rocks...all great journeys of adventure.....before returning to the ship...take a peak into O'Leary's Pub(just around the corner from the pier)...chances are there's a pint of Moosehead there to quaff your thirst!! Enjoy!!

Thanks for the sightseeing tips, Billy. We live in Maine, but we have never been to St. John or Halifax. My great grand parents on both sides of the family came from Nova Scotia. We are really looking forward to this cruise! It is our first summer cruise. Let's hope the weather is good. Living in Maine, I know how it can be!

I'm so happy for you, papa58, even though it's a long drive to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, it sure is nice not having to fly!

Paid off the summer cruise! Time to start saving for the February cruise!
