Carnival Increases Fees for Steakhouse

Carnival is raising its fee for dining from $5 to $35 in their steakhouses on board 13 of their 24 ships.

Even at $35/pp the Steakhouse aboard the Carnival ships is still well worth the dining experience. Such a quality dinner ashore in the finest restaurants is going to cost double or more for the same quality and entree!!

Carnival has also quietly started charging for specialty coffees in the main dining room. They started it on the Miracle last month and are rolling it out fleet wide. Their explanation is essentially 'because the other cruise lines do it'.

The new coffee pricing is $2 for espresso and $2.95 for a latte or cappuccino.
