**Carnival Liberty**

I was just reading some reviews on the liberty. Someone was saying that the blackjack tables are all done by a computer. So there is no cards? I am hoping I read that wrong.I would prefer real cards. Does anyone know about this?

Also what does everyone thing about the liberty?? We are going on 7/28/12 any must do's ??

Thought about found snuba in Cozmel ...sell might go to the French key I think is the name in Roatan .. that looked nice.

Any ideas will work. Just want to go to VERY nice beaches.. that don't cost a arm. Thanks for all.

Roatan has a great beach right where you dock, if you go to Mahogany Bay. Sometimes it's too windy and they have to go to Coxen Hole. The snorkeling in Roatan is fabulous, Tabyana Beach is beautiful, Mahogany Bay is really nice. I've not sailed on the Liberty, but every ship I've sailed on with Carnival has had real blackjack tables. They have the computerized ones as well, but I've always seen real dealers. Maybe the Liberty has gone all computer, but I don't know for sure. Cozumel is a fabulous port, The Money Bar, Chankanaab Park, Paradise Beach, Nachi CoCom, and snorkeling are some of my favorites. Don't know what other ports you'll visit, if any, but these are just a few recommendations. Have a marvelous cruise and don't forget to try the chocolate melting cake!

Not ALL the BJ tables are computerized. They have 3 or 4 tables of blackjack that are done with a computer. Much like the poker tables, it's basically like playing on-line. They tend to keep these games low limit (Like $3 min) but few people play them. Those that do have to put up with not only people who have no idea how to play blackjack, but people that don't know how to play on the computer system. So it makes for very slow play. They play for "fun" on embarkation day to get people used to the machines since they can play with fake money. It fun to sit there and play for a bit... but I have not played with real money....

They still have regular dealer played tables, BUT they all use the continuous shuffle machine shoe. (Except for the Super Fun 21 tables which will hand shuffle and have a real shoe because of the absence of the Q's from the decks which makes the continuous shoes unusable since the number of cards is not correct)
