Tortola and antigua

Help! Thinking about booking 6 of us on the 8 day cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale that goes to Tortola and Antigua....for anyone out there that has been to these two islands....can I get some feedback....are they "happening" islands....shopping....fun bars etc? Or are these quieter islands. Thanks for any help.

Tortola has always struck me as being laid back and fairly quaint in the old Caribbean sense.
