Default Carnival to spend $300 million on fleetwide safety upgrades
Carnival plans to spend $300,000,000 to outfit each ship with two emergency diesel generators, upgraded fire suppression systems, system redundancies, and more. Plus they have hired a retired Coast Guard Captain as a senior executive to oversee safety.
