CAT 4E Interior on Triumph
CAT 4E interior on the Upper Deck on Triumph actually has two different types of interior layout floor plans on the deck plans. Can anyone post a pic of the extreme interior (ex. 6287, 6289, etc) or describe the stateroom from experience. I don't mind an interior for the right price, but was wondering if this type of stateroom is smaller than the regular interior staterooms. Thanks for any input.

Those are the square cabins? I recall reading someplace (it may have been here a couple years ago) that people actually found the layout preferable to the standard insides. They are the same size as the standard insides, just laid out a little differently.

I've never seen one of those. We have put my daughters in one of those 4E cabins that is rotated so that the long side of the cabin runs parallel to the hallway instead of perpendicular, but I have not stayed in the square ones. Like Dave said... they size is the same, just how they get the furniture and closest to fit in is different.

On the advice and suggestion of our PVP at Carnival (we use the same PVP for all our bookings - great representative for Carnival!), we took the free upgrade (up-deck) to the CAT 4F on Empress. He thought the noise level might be less than the Upper deck, since it is directly above the busy Promenade. We appreciate his advice, and since the upgrades were included in the price during the customer appreciate event "sale", we took it!. Why not? Empress Deck midship interior for the same price as on the Riviera! Woohoo for us!

Whoohoo for you indeed. I would much perfer the higher deck than Riviera deck. being that low on the ship might be good for limiting seasickness but EVERYWHERE you want to go to and from your cabin is a long elevator ride it seems.

Yes, Jim, a perfect deck for access to everything. 2 up to the Lido, and 2 down to the Promenade! We usually take the stairs to get extra exercise, but not on the 7 or 8 deck fights! HAHA.

31 days and the countdown is on. I have checked pricing several times since booking, and have not found a lower price yet.....which is exciting to know I got the best deal! It is truly fun to get away even for a 5 night inside cabin....just to get to cruise is a special blessing and to see beautiful places!

The good thing about inside cabins on Carnival is they are decent sized. And for a 5 night cruise it is perfectly fine. I used to hate insides but I've started using them for solo cruises and they are not at all bad.

Enjoy your cruise Rodney!

Well, I am on the short countdown - finally! Wife and I will drive to Galveston on Sunday to spend the night, but stopping to eat at the Monument Inn at LaPorte. Our son used to live in LaPorte and we had a "free" night's lodging, but we are on our own now, since he has moved. I will post a review when I return to let everyone know how the Triumph was. I am easy to please, so we expect a great time. Stay safe all you landlubbers!
