Just wondering

First time cruiser in September. My cabin on the Triumph is 6208 which is a Cat. 8A Balcony on the driver's side, on the hood, or as some other rookies may call it, the lefthand side on the front of the ship, or as you professinal cruisers call it the port side, bow? Anyway I just noticed on the deck plan, that it is showen as about a third wider than the other 8A cabins. I'm wondering if anyone knows if this is the case. Also, being that far forward, should I tie myself down in the bed if we have rough seas?

The cabin is modified for wheelchair use, so it is configured differently. Under normal sea conditions you should be fine.

Wheelchair use huh? Don't know why they put me there, didn't ask for it. Booked it the first part of June. If someone needs the wheelchair access, surely they would bump me out of it ,do you think?

Yea, they will move you if they need it. I've been in them 2 or 3 times. I booked them on purpose though because I like the big bathrooms. And no I didn't keep anyone from them that needed them. They always tell me if they need it they'll move me which I totally understand.

That is an odd location for a wheelchair accessible cabin. They are normally close to the elevators. They may have modified it along with 6207 as extras.

we have been in a wheelchair accessable room before and we loved it . it was a bit bigger then the avg room.
