Okay, being a first time Cruiser who is leaving on April 10, I am looking to make sure I am on track and not forgetting anything. Here is what I have done so far:
Cruise paid off.
Fun Pass complete.
My Documents printed.
Flights booked for day prior to sailing.
Pre-Sail hotel booked.
Shuttle booked.
Packing lists in progress.
Bought wife new luggage.
Convinced family and friends to purchase drink vouchers.
Am I missing anything here?

Nope... You are more prepared than most! Now all you have to do is pack and go... Got Passports? or other documentation if you are not using passports?
Bring your fun passes and your passports and away you go... Its not going to be long now...

Jim covered the most important thing, documentation. Now, just get more people to purchase vouchers for you and you'll be set. Maybe they'd even spring for a special dining evening or an excursion?
We always have up to date passports in case we need to book a last minute sell off at an AI. Sounds like I have everything under control. I guess finishing the lists and packing is all that remains.
Thanks!!!

You have done an excellent job of first time cruise planning.
The only thing I can think of in addition right now is to go ahead and get the luggage tags ready when you can, if you haven't. I had friends call me from their hotel the night before their cruise asking how to attach them once.
I love the idea of asking friends and family to get drink vouchers.
Thanks for the reminder!! How do you attach the luggage tags? I know you have to fold them, but I have no idea how to attach them to our luggage.
Thanks!!!
My favorite thing is to laminate them. I have a laminator, but if you don't you can clear tape them, anything to make them more sturdy. Then attach with metal twist ties so they don't break. Try to keep them in color, no copy machine copies, because that helps the porters get it to the right part of the ship where your cabin is.
Also remember that you may not see your luggage until late the first night. So bring some carry on, swim suit perhaps, light jacket, change of clothes for example
Laminating the tags is a good idea to keep them more sturdy. Also, goodness forbid it should be raining at the port, printer ink and water mix all too well. This last cruise was my first time using the home printed tags, I used the clear packing tape, quadruple stapled them on, and they held very well.

Dwayne has the method down pretty well, I've been using them for several years now and the tags stand up really fine after tape wrapping and stapling!!!
