Just curious, what are the benefits to being a past guest (3 times) and over 55?

The location varies on the individual ships. Most often it is held in one of the larger lounge venues on the ship. The invitation will state the time and location.

Any activities that are open to all passengers will be listed in the daily Carnival Capers you receive in your cabin daily. It tells you what, when, and where. If it is a special invitation as in Past Guest, that too will be delivered to your cabin telling you when, what, and where. Your cabin steward delivers everything. He also will deliver any necessary luggage tags, customs card, and information for disembarkation.
