Great news for Dwayne, Linda and all our fellow Cruise-Chat smokers .....Sam's Piano Bar aboard the Dream is now a smoking venue!! It was opened to smoking on last week's Bahamas cruise out of NYC. So ... for those of you...outbound on the Dream soon!!! This is your Turkey Day present!!

However, Linda will not be thrilled with this as she is a staunch non-smoking singing venue advocate. Well, the karaoke is non-smoking so I'm sure she is happy about that.

Thanks again for the info; Us smoking turkeys are happy, at least until we quit.

Did they make Sam's non-smoking? I heard they were going to since they did on the Splendor.

I'm quoting myself above. Actually, I just found out according to Carnival they changed the Piano Bar on the Splendor to smoking permitted as well. This seems like a more equitable decision considering that Karaoke and most other venues are non-smoking. No flames please.

I see she is running late leaving Port Canaveral. I've been watching on the web cam at the Radisson here.

She may be waiting for the Disney ship that just left to get out a ways in the channel.

Well, apparently she wasn't waiting for the Disney ship. She is still sitting there an hour and 45 minutes late now leaving. I wonder what the hold up is.

She just left and is on her way on her 9 night special Florida Inaugural Blogger's cruise. Maybe they were late loading supplies or something. This also was her first departure from her new home port.

When they brought the Dream down last night it was only crew on board. John said they had a party for the crew in the disco. I'm sure after the European runs and the crossing they deserved it.

Maybe the crew was worn out from all the Northeastern partygoers she had the previous three weeks!!!
