I actually don't mind the aft balconies. It's the midships ones that jump out at me. It looks like, from the deck plans on Carnival's Web site, that balconies were extended on several suites on Upper Deck and some added to existing ocean view cabins on Empress Deck. The aft balconies are pretty seamless, but these aren't. JMHO.
