cancellation on carnival cruise?

i was wondering with all this hurricane and bad weather has carnival cancelled any of their cruises? i will be going sept 5 to western carribbean on the inspiration..Do they still go out if the weather out there is bad... I was watching there might be another storm heading florida... thanks..

Hi,

there have been no cancellations of cruises. Only some ports of call have been cancelled or replaced by others.

I too am wondering about the bad weather, this is our (husband and I) first cruise, 25th wedding anversary, Were going Sept 5th on the Inspiration also. We are taking the Tampa Bay Shuttle service from airport to the dock (I hope they get that right). If some ports of call are cancelled and replaced by others is there a way we can find out where before we leave? thanks

You will have a great time. Don't worry about the weather too much, as even in the worse situations, the ships know how to dodge bad weather and find some sunshine.

I will be on the same Inspiration cruise leaving September 5th with my wife and son and my mother in law. Maybe we could all have a cruise-chat member get together one night? Just a thought.

Sounds like an excellent idea! Since, unfortuantely I won't be joining you - please make sure to report back to the rest of the c-c community, if you are able to get the group together. Maybe you can send us a quick "Hello" while all onboard. BTW - It looks like you already had a plan in play for occupying your young one - having your mother-in-law join you will certainly help. :-)
