If going on shore excursions and the ship says it leaves port at 4 what time do you usually have to be back on the ship? 3:55 or earlier? Not that we plan on getting on the last second just trying to figure out our times>
It is usually 30 minutes prior to the stated sailing time like Sonny noted. And, heed his instruction of keeping your watch on the ship's time. It is nothing to play with. The time will be posted in the Capers and announced several times.
Yes they are correct, 1/2 hour before ship leaves, is you are shopping and run late ,, buy a rum drink, sit on dock and wave as ship sails off with out you , it will not wait,, only way they ship waits if your shore excursion that you booked from the ship runs late,,, other wise, rum & wave
30 to 45 mintues prior to sail time. I can't stress the importance of setting your watch to ship's time. Also, for tendered ports, check for the last tender time. You'll have to arrange your own transportation to the next port to catch up to your ship at your expense.
