Nice to hear from you again.....hope that you & the family had a nice
Holiday Season. I am no sure what exactly is wrong with the propelling
system, as I am not too technical. I just know that it is influencing
our speed, so we are no able to reach all ports of call & home port in a
timely manner. All other functions & activities are going on as usual.
We therefore changed our itinerary. For the 4 day cruise we were not
able to do any ports of call, so we did a 4 day cruise to nowhere. For
this 5 day cruise we were suppose to do only Key West, but we do have
some Technicians sailing with us to work on the problem.....and they
manage to increase our sailing speed, so we are now on our why to
Cozumel.....the guests were very happy to hear this news!!!
The guests are been informed about the itinerary changes prior to
embarking the ship and all of them that whishes to still sail with us,
receives a free $100 on their Sail & Sign Account.
I guess some guests would be disappointed about this. I am like this
too.....if I mentally prepared myself for going to Cozumel and I can not
go anymore, I would probably be upset to.
Well I guess this is how life goes.....full of ups & downs.....as the
saying goes: "**** sometimes happens". For sure we do not want our
guests to be unhappy and we want them to have a great cruise experience.
We are also working much harder with all the added sea days.
inquiring about the Holiday lots of rumors gong around on a chat site
that she is out of commission can you fill me in so as we know her
status, is she still waiting for an engine part or somthing? and is
she still making trips thanks, Fran
