Hello all- I mentioned our forum (Cruise Chat) on John Heald's blog. For those of you who may not know, John is the senior cruise director for Carnival Cruise lines. John hosts a blog here which is very entertaining. You can read about what goes on behind the scenes at Carnival and in general the daily life of a cruise director.
John had not know of Cruise Chat before I mentioned it to him and he invited anyone from here to pop over and visit his blog.
If you have any needs or questions, John tries to answer them when asked. Take a look when you have a chance.

With John as a cruise director aboard the Dream - she's gonna' rock!! For Sure!! I'm gonna miss his 1st blogger's cruise to the Bahamas on the Dream by only a few hours. I debark the Dream in the AM and the blogger's cruise embarks in the PM (just my luck!) Oh Well- I'll just have to be content with the 1st 2 nite cruise!

You'll have a blast on the two night. I've done several 1 & 2 nighters. I enjoy just being on a ship and checking it out.

Just a note:
John is not bringing out the Dream. He will be aboard the Blogger's Cruise in a Carnival Ambassador capacity....but Todd Wittmer will be your Cruise Director....even during the Blogger's Cruises.
John's wife just had their first child...and John did not want the responsibility of bringing out a new ship at this time...so he deferred to Todd.
Kye (which means blue ocean in Dutch) ~ Heidi is Dutch ~ is 11 weeks old...and she is beautiful.

John and Heidi had been trying to YEARS to get pregnant and had just about given up. Kye was born on May 15th... Heidi's Dad's birthday.
The Dream is heading out on "KYE DAY" Nov. 13th - which means it'll be a day of great luck!!! (Yes, it is a Friday and ...Yea I do not fear the number 13!!)
