We are sailing 7/4/09 on the Carnival Glory. I see on the deck plans that there is a sushi bar, and I was wondering if anyone has tried it? Was it any good? Also, is there an extra charge? I'm kind of new to sushi, and a bit hesitant to get it on my own... but I thought this might be a good way to try a few new things (and also to see if I can convince my kids to try some!).
I have some friends who were just on Carnival Splendor; they said the sushi was great but I don't recall if there was an extra charge for it. I will find out and report back.
We traveled on the Pride in November '08 and the Fantasy in June '09. They had a Sushi bar on both and there was no charge for it.
I'm picky about Sushi, but did like it. I only try certain items. My husband tries it all and always enjoyed it.
Unless, they've changed it recently, The Sushi Bar is included except the Sake. I haven't tried it. On the Glory I get my fish upstairs in the Lido restaurant at the Fish n'Chips outlet. Also, the Asian outlet is great on the Glory.
My husband got me into eating Sushi on cruises. We love it and always go to the Sushi bar before dinner. The Sushi is free. When I go on a ladies cruise I'm the only person who eats the Sushi but it's worth it to go by myself. It is very healthy and they have three different types of Sushi everynight.
my wife loves that stuff..NOT me man!! but like eveyone says,it is free. she doesn't get a ton of it going thru once,so she goes thru atleast twice..i wont try it
My mouth is just watering thinking about it ... told my hubby he knows where to find me every night when the sushi bar opens hehe. God I am going to put on soooooooo much weight
