Glad to see the Pride on a couple favorite lists.

Legand or Miracle. Both are perfect in my opinion.

Have to agree with Dave - The Legend has the best layout. Of course favorite ships are usually associated with who you met, how the food & service was etc. We didn't like the Glory at all - but then again - that's the cruise my wife got very ill.

Like everyone has said it is a hard choice. If I had to pick just one, I guess it would be the Glory. John Heald was our cruise director on our Glory cruise and he was fantastic. We had more fun on that cruise than on any other.

My favorite ship is the one my daughter is dancing on. Right now that's the Glory. And I DO like the Glory (and the Liberty and the Triumph), But I think my first cruise with Carnival and seeing the hugh ship for the first time has put a special place in my heart for the Spirit.

Inspiration was our first-time cruise. We had a wonderful time. Everyone on board was wonderful. Food was exceptional. After reading some of the reviews, we were almost sorry we decided to cruise. But, we are leaving on the 12th on the Destiny for our 2nd cruise and again after reading reviews about the Destiny, gives us 2nd thoughts. I have made up my mind not to read anymore reviews-unless they are good ones

Hi GrandmaB, welcome to Cruise-Chat. You said it perfectly! Granted, there are some negative reviews that might actually have merit, but they are few and far between. Most of them are due to the client believing they had the right to a full refund, a free cruise on another ship in the owner's suite, and did not get it. We hope you will contribute to our board and that you will let us know how your cruise on the Destiny goes. Best wishes!

Welcome to cruise-chat GrandmaB.

The Destiny was a very popular ship when she sailed out of San Juan. She was recently refurbished before they brought her up to Miami for the 4/5 night cruises. You should have a good time.

GrandmaB - My next door neighbor and family just recently returned from a cruise on the Carnival Destiny and returned with nothing but praise and smiles for her! When they got home they booked another cruise on her for the spring!! They have taken a total of 8 cruises thus far - this was their first on Carnival!

Welcome Aboard!! Visit us often!!!

Thanks to you all for your encouraging words. We are very anxious & excited about our next cruise. I read a statistic that said the average cruise age on Carnival is something to 45, well my husband and I are both 71, but we are young at heart and certainly don't feel that old. Actually, when I see that number in print, it looks old to me Well let you know how the cruise goes. Anchors Away!!
