The piano bar is one of my favorite places to spend a little time after dinner on the Carnival ships. Here is an updated schedule. Note the dates represent the ending time of the entertainer's contract/schedule.

I've been on a few of them that have since been scrapped, sold, or re-branded. Carnivale, Tropicale, and Holiday. I never got to go on the Mardi Gras or Festivale. I can say I've been on every class of ship except the Dream class. It's next in the works though if the Lawd is willing and the creek don't rise.

There may be some that disagree, but I'm sorta glad to see Lorraine is not on the schedule. Nothing against her personally, but she just couldn't pack the fun or the bar.

We have 3 more to go to complete the "set" (except the Carnivale) and we are sailing them this year....

Barry Miller was not on the Dream for our sailing last week. It was a player named "Kyle" I don't know his last name. He was supposed to be on the Dream for a couple of weeks and then was heading to the Paradise.

We were not impressed with him. He played well and sung decently but he could never seem to get the audience engaged.

That was the problem with Loraine as well. She was so boring it was almost comical. I think I even caught the bar servers snickering a few times. You sure didn't have a problem getting a seat at the piano. Now Michael will pack the bar.

If you thought that was a lot of ships. Guess what? I just realized the schedule is missing the Destiny and Legend. There is supposed to be an updated one available soon. I kept thinking it was a ship or 2 short.

Russell got changed to the Splendor....and I am so disappointed...he is one of my favorites...and I was looking forward to seeing him on the Triumph in October.

I just got word that Michael Lee Smith is going to the Pride on August 1st.

Funny how Carnival has TWO "michael smiths"...good thing they spell their names differently....

Bad for you Linda... good for me... Russell will be on the Splendor when we get on next week. If you like him, then I'm sure we will enjoy him also.
