Just wondering, of all the 7 day cruises to choose from next May , why is this one so CHEAP? Is there something I don't know about, or are these islands just not popular for some reason? Thanks for your help.
I assume you mean the Valor. They seem to always have this cruise priced very inexpensively. To be honest I do not know why. It's a great itinerary. We enjoy each port (Belize is limited in that you really need to do an excursion because the port area and city are not that impressive unless you only want to shop). IF you enjoy beaches and snorkeling/scuba diving ... this is YOUR cruise. Maybe the other itineraries out of Miami are more popular and since there are so many ships leaving Miami they have to price this one low to fill it up, but I really don't understand why. We had a great time and the Valor is a great ship with wonderful crew...
One possibility is the number of sea days.. on the trip. Some people want to be in port more than at sea. For me... I would rather it the other way around.

Sandylynn, The two ships are practically identical other than decor. May is usually a less expensive time to cruise. At least a few weeks during it. I guess it's because the spring breaks are over and school hasn't let out yet. I've done that route several times and enjoyed it.
We do our sibling reunion (no wives, husbands or kids), just us 6 sisters and brothers) every year and usually a cruise....my sister LOVES TO SHOP..and browse....would this cruise work for her? Thanks for your input
Depends on what cheap is.. We usually cruise in the late fall.. this year we are going on the Glory the weekend of thanksgiving. and we are paying less than $350.00 for a 7 day cruise with a window.. it seems the older the ship the cheaper it is too..
We are doing this cruise in November. i have not been to Cozumel in many years and excited to see what it looks like after the hurricane destroyed the port a few years ago. Belize was a great port to see. We walked the streets near the port and my kids saw how other people live in other countries. Grand Cayman was there a few years ago and want to go back to Hell and take some more pictures. Isle of Roatan I have not been to yet and ready to hit the beach there and all the rest of the ports.
