Hi Deborah803, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Congratulations on your up-coming cruise! What a great boyfriend! The Atlantis is a destination in itself, there is a free beach (Cabbage Beach) that is adjacent to the property. If you'd like to do the royal swim (with the dolphins), you will have an excursion of a lifetime. It is an awesome experience, but be sure to do the swim and not the encounter. Half Moon Cay is their private island, it's a great beach day. Half Moon Cay is one of my favorite private islands, beautiful beach, snorkeling isn't too bad either. We've only been to Grand Turk once. We did a snorkel trip through the ship that took us to two stops. One was for the coral, and one was for the fish. The water was crystal clear and the snorkeling was fantastic. There's a nice beach right where you dock, and a shopping area too. We didn't explore the island but they do have excursions for that as well. There's one for ATVs that someone took and said it was a blast. Take a look in our Caribbean Port Chat section, there may be excursions listed that might interest you.
