Jim C. and LHP recently returned from cruising on the Valor. From what I've read I'd definitely say Yes! Of course I've never been on a Carnival ship that I wouldn't cruise again on.
Vietvet- Yes. Definitely yes! The Valor is looking great! The crew were terrific and the itinerary was unbelievable. We got a fantastic deal too so if you are looking at a near term cruise, the prices can't be beat. The only complaint we had was that the piano bar entertainer did not do much in the way of audience participation (but he was still a great player). I would say that it was in our top 4 cruises. And that is only slightly behind our 12 day Mediterranean cruise.

Heavens yes. Valor was best of my cruises for our 30th anniversary last April. Crew was fantastic and I felt pampered the whole time. The ship was in top shape and our itinerary wonderful. We'll do it again.
It was our BEST cruise EVER...and we have had some great ones.
I will warn you that the Chateaubrian (sp?) was a little tough (first time I have experienced that)...but the Prime Rib was WONDERFUL.
And (as much as this subject has been beat to death) as with all the Conquest class ships... way to much smoke drifts from the casino into the promenade and the Winston Cigar Bar stunk as well. But then, I am not a smoker...so of course, if you are..that won't be a problem.
I agree with Jim on the Piano Bar guy. Larry is a really nice guy...but does not have the "it" factor that so many Carnival piano bar guys are known for.
If you love karaoke...Kim will be there until February and HE ROCKS. And even if you don't like karaoke....the later the night gets..the more of a show he puts on!!! He is WONDERFUL.

We got the Nov. 1st. cruise at an unbelievable price. The only thing is my son is going with us and they banged him double. That doesn't seem right. He is only one person,so 1 meal 1 set of towels and other laundry. Doesn't seem fair but all the cruise lines do the same.
