Carnival has announced three new commercials which start airing today. The cruise line will also be the exclusive cruise line sponsor for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Read the press release HERE

Carnival has done a great job the last several years with their commercials. They have a knack for hitting their target audience.

I agree. The Carnival commercials are much better than those from the other cruise lines.

I agree, Carnival really understands their audience and does a good job reaching out to them. During the months leading up to my next scheduled Carnival cruise, I always look forward to seeing their commercials.

On the other hand, I think Royal Caribbean missed the mark with their new advertising campain. The "nation of why not"? I don't get it. Okay, I get it but it doesn't capture me.

I agree, isn't that a train wreck of an ad campaign? What were they thinking when they approved it? On the other hand Carnival's commercials clearly communicate "fun", for everybody.
