She's big, beautiful, and exciting. I am so jealous, I have to wait until December. Please let us know how your cruise went when you return. I'm sure there are many board members that have sailed on her and can give you a heads up on the details. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise!
It think you will like it. We went two years ago and had a blast. Great dining rooms, and the decor is pretty good. Nothing is too flamboyant. Our cruise staff and entertainment was great soI hope it's still up to par.
We went in March and were not thrilled. The ship was very clean and well maintained. The service we had in the dinning room was not great, but ok. The Lido always seemed crowded,I think there was not enough space for the amount of passengers. The entertainment was good, not great.I will have to say it was a good cruise but not a great cruise. I much prefer the Spirit class ships.
Elaine09, I wouldn't worry too much. Some of the things mentioned are totally subjective, what's good to one may be great to another. Please come back and let us know what you thought, I know you'll love the chocolate melting cake. Some ship layouts are not as convenient as others. I tend to like the smaller ships because they're easier to navigate, but some love the larger ships. I still believe you'll have a marvelous time!
The liberty is hard to navigate if you are below deck . But when travelling from one end to the other do it on deck or above and you will be o.k. I like the smaller ships as well, they seem less crowded.
The Conquest class ships do have some "getting around" issues on a few decks. Particularly getting to the Aft Dining room on decks 3 and 4. You'll learn your way though. If the Lido deck does get crowded, go up one deck to the Panorama deck, it is usually less crowded with available lounge chairs.
